We are looking for a few good people!!
Individuals are always encouraged to inquire if their talents and skills could be utilized in Haiti. Length of service is flexible according to the needs of the volunteer and needs of the program being served.

Noreen Gibson, has given generously of her time in numerous ways to assure the smooth functioning of the Norwich Mission House.
Noreen, who in the past has volunteered for 2-3 month intervals, came in January and plans to stay until June. Thank you, Noreen.
Special Projects/Short Term
If you have access to the internet and have a few hours to spare we need your help to research grants on the internet. We would provide you with the names of the organizations we would like to research and an outline of the information we are looking for. Haiti Program Coordinator
A volunteer assigned to the Norwich Mission House in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Some of the duties of the coordinator include:
- Working with the Bishop's representative to Haiti and the Norwich Mission House Coordinator.
- Administer, monitor, and provide support for Norwich Mission House projects.
- Identify and report to the Haitian Ministry Board of Directors of any new projects that meet the Haitian Ministries objectives.
- Administer Norwich Mission House project funds as budgeted by the Haitian Ministries Board of directors.
- Coordinate the purchase and inventorying of Haitian crafts for sale at the Norwich Mission House and in the US.
- Assist Norwich Mission House Coordinator and Bishop's Representative to Haiti in overseeing, facilitating, and making guest visits to the Norwich Mission House a positive educational visit.
- Identify and provide a network of service providers in Haiti.
- Volunteer for a service project outside Norwich Mission House.
- Meets on a weekly basis with the Bishop's Representative to Haiti to review Norwich Mission House Operations.
Norwich Mission House Coordinator
A volunteer assigned to the Norwich Mission House in Haiti to provide hospitality services for visitors to the NNH.
- Work collaboratively to oversee the hospitality functions of the Norwich Mission House and facilitate a positive educational experience for visitors.
- Administer the operating funds for the Norwich Mission House. Oversee and evaluate the performance of Norwich Mission House employees.
- Assist the program coordinator in monitoring and reporting on Norwich Mission House projects.
- Respond to phone calls and handle and direct visitors at the gate.
- Volunteer for at least one service project outside of the Norwich Mission House.
- Oversee maintenance of equipment, materials and vehicles as personal talents allow.
